in this review i will be testing the Ping G20 driver. I will be testing the driver for its durability and ease of use, along with how much it has helped to reduce my handicap. i have used the driver now for 12 months and feel this review is well worth a read if you are looking for a piece of equipment that can greatly improve your golf game!

if you are struggling to keep your drives straight and long then this is the place for you to be. i will keep it to the point and relevant so that you can spend less time reading and more time improving your golf game. i hope you enjoy this review and find it helpful.

Sitting nicelythe Ping G20 'sits' very nicely and with an over sized head which gives you the confidence that is needed when standing on the tee of a long par 5. this confidence is essential as we all know how much of a golf game is played in our mind! if you cant get your mind on your side then you are fighting a losing battle. The G20 is a great club for forgiveness, it gives you a high arc to your shot with minimal spin, allowing for those times when you just don't catch it right! when you do catch it right however, there is no doubt you will be the envy of your playing partners. it is a great looking club and the face has a great depth to it. if you are looking for a club that puts a lot of shape on the ball then this may not be ideal for you. however if you just want a nice straight trajectory with little spin then the G20 is perfect. granted a club of this nature may not be ideal on lynx courses due to the temperamental wind conditions but it can offer great rewards for golfers that are struggling to keep the ball on the fairway. on impact the balls seems to jump off the face and gives off the distinctive 'Ping' sound. build up confidence with this club and you will have no better weapon in your arsenal!

when you pick this club up it is very easy to get the urge to 'grip it and rip it' however, i have found that the G20 offers easy power meaning a smoother swing is rewarded far more often than a super fast swing. i would recommend that you get the correct shaft fitted as this could cause a lot of unbalance in you swing. i use a stiff shaft as my swing is relatively fast (which i have had to adjust slightly) and i do mange to get my hips through my swing quite quickly. this is a club that can accommodate many different types of golf swings, whilst still giving a good distance for all. it has a slightly heavier head which is compensated by a high balance point in the shaft. so overall this is a great club for anyone looking for straighter, longer and more consistent drives. it is aesthetically appealing and easy to swing. it has great forgiveness and gives off a lovely sound on impact. this would be a very wise choice for most golfers and i wouldn't change it for any other driver currently on the market (and i have tried ALOT), and i would definitely accredit this golf club as being one of the reasons i have managed to shave 11 shots off my handicap in the last year. this can be picked up relatively cheap nowadays and is definately worth the investment
