In today?s world education has gone to such a far extent that now it is not been limited into the four walls of classroom but much-much far beyond that. Every school is equipping with smart-learn class making learning stuff to be understood more quickly. Even student are taking interest when their studies come with an exciting animation and secure good marks in even their weakest era. In future technology will be so advanced that students may need not to submit their assignments on paper instead they may submit those through mails. We see nowadays that many of class work are done on soft copy and are given to teacher through CDs. Technological innovation has longed a hallmark of academic research, and may now be changing the very way that teachers teach and students learn. For academic institutions, charged with equipping students to compete in today?s knowledge economy, the possibilities are great. Distance education, sophisticated learning, management systems and the opportunity to collaborate with research partners from around the world are just some of the transformational benefits that universities are embracing. Now here we get INTERNET the most vital role playing organ of education, which has upgraded so much that without this internet it is becoming difficult to complete their works, through internet we are getting gigantic amount of knowledge, from history of unidentified village to our solar system ,every information can be gathered from it. In fact it has been considered as soul of education.one can have a conference from multiple universities of world and discuss issues without any loss of money in transporting. We are constantly moving towards development in all aspects and so in education, online learning is also gaining a firm foothold in schools around the world. Some Institutions also are now offering online courses, where students don?t need to attend regular classes. Many of them consider online learning key to advancing their mission, placing advanced education within reach of people who might otherwise not be able to access it. Through online learning one can refer any chapter, take his IQ test or prepare for his exams by applying an online test, some of the companies offer free learning on internet. Once it used to be that a student has to work hard day and night to fetch the knowledge inside books and sacrifice his own needs and activities but the world changed a lot and today a student is getting multimedia classes clearing the minutest doubt of student and he can enjoy also because he no more need to find important material from books and an improvement in academics is seen clearly. If we progress in upgrading education with technology like this then the day is no far when a class will be no less than a museum of technology. We had never wondered that education will become so advanced but we got it, at time we are running with A.C classrooms, smart learn classes, 3-D labs, touch screen computers etc. Technology has had and will continue to have a significant impact on education whereas Technological innovation will have a major influence on teaching methodologies over the next five years. In fact, technology will become core in attracting students towards their studies. Institutions view technology as having a largely positive impact on their campuses, as students try to reach that institution where they get best of technologies which perfectly results in scholastic development. Distance education is also becoming increasingly global, with institutions overseas leveraging advanced technologies to put education within reach of many more individuals around the world .Many people believe that technology will become even more interwoven into the fabric of academic life. No generation is more at ease with online, collaborative technologies than today?s young people, ?Digital natives?, who has grown up in an immersive computing environment. Where a notebook and pen may have formed the tool kit of prior generations, today?s college students come to class armed with smart phones, laptops and iPods. This era of pervasive technology has significant implications for higher education. Public and private sectors say that technological innovation will have a major impact on teaching methodologies over the next five years. ?Technology allows students to become much more engaged in constructing their own knowledge, and cognitive studies show that ability is a key to learning success,? Online degree programs and distance learning have gained a firm foothold in universities around the world. What was once considered a niche channel for the delivery of educational content has rapidly become mainstream, creating wider access to education, new markets for content and expanded revenue opportunities for academic institutions. Technological change occurring in our midst will alter the perception of a campus from a one dimensional concept to a multi-dimensional one. Social-networking tools are helping to build connections with alumni and support career service activities. E-marketing campaigns expand the reach and success of recruiting and fundraising efforts, and drive down the cost of direct-mail campaigns. Many institutions struggle with the twin challenges of rising information technology (IT) costs and the need to avoid technological obsolescence. In addition, insufficient resources, lack of staff and other technological issues. Despite these challenges, most believe that technology will become ever more interwoven into the fabric of academic life. Technology is enabling multi-modal teaching, changing curricula and spawning rich forms of online research and collaboration Sophisticated learning-management systems and enhanced video and presentation tools are among other innovations that respondents say are likely to have a profound effect on the academic experience. It is interesting to note that despite the growing array of technology-enabled teaching tools available; nearly three-quarters of participants say that the greatest potential benefit of technology is something far more straightly forward. We are proceeding into technology that we are in threat that one day we may be replaced by robots in future generation. We are continuous in making robots and all industries are fully equipped with robots. In spite all these a teacher cannot be ever replaced by technologies; a teacher can deliver that content that technology can never. In fact many topics in science are such that a teacher?s presence is must. A teacher is a person whose comparison is impossible to make with technology. So we have concluded that in earlier era teachers were considered the only source of fetching the knowledge and no reference could be taken in spite those heavy books but now a person can refer internet and the online classrooms having conference with teachers. Schools are also developing their schools with equipping their classes with multimedia and advanced labs. We will soon be meeting a generation where we will be completely depended on technologies and education will be full of technology. But technological education is comparatively less efficient than a teacher teaching live in classroom.
